Our Staff
OCS maintains a high-quality team of support staff and coordinator positions. Coordinator positions are held by parents in exchange for reduced tuition.

SALLY
ZABAVA
Kids Club, lunch monitor, and classroom support for Becky's Kindergarten Class.
Sally is a new Washingtonian transplanted from Texas. She attended Texas State University where she studied teaching, mathematics, and dance and received a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies. Previous experience includes three years teaching math to middle schoolers, as well as teaching ballet to kids of all ages. Sally loves to bring her creativity and artistry into teaching, and her expertise lies in the areas of social-emotional learning, relationship building, and conflict resolution.
RYLIE
MCCHESNEY
Lunch monitor, Kids Club & Enrichment.
Rylie has worked in childcare/schools for four years now and is excited to be at OCS this year! She is very passionate about teaching and watching students learn. Currently Rylie is working on getting her bachelors degree in early childhood education. Her family moved all the way to Washington State from Pennsylvania three years ago and she love exploring this new beautiful state.

Printmaking Instructor & Kids Club
Rebecca has been living in the Olympia area on and off for about 7 years. She graduated from Kent State University with a BFA in Printmaking. She worked as a commercial screen printer until becoming a stay-at-home mom. She shares her love of the outdoors with her children and anyone else who will listen. In her spare time, you can find her outside in the forest or curled up on the couch with a good book. She loves big play and adventures especially when she gets to use her imagination. She loves to create a printmaking assignment for the week and then let the kids' imaginations be their guides
JENNY

Kids Club
Aardë is a full time real estate broker and jewelry artist. She grew up in Lacey with 8 siblings, which has helped her learn the facets of how developing personalities integrate and has made her an understanding person and great advocate for growing personal development.
Being a single mother of one son (now adult) has provided her with ample opportunities to learn helpful skills in redirection, positive reinforcement, all with an empathetic nature. She is excited to share her calm and kind approach with impressionable young minds, offering positive perspectives and encouraging making beneficial choices in social settings.
