Helping youth put children's stories on stage!

Olympia Community School proudly presents our first annual summer drama camp!

We use an age-specific theater arts curriculum developed by acclaimed director Erich Brown of Olympia Little Theater and director/owner of Washington Youth Theater. Campers will work with trained staff on creative practice and theater skills. This drama camp teaches youth to use their voice and bodies in presentation. Youth learn to develop their own stories while building an understanding of each other through team building, exploration of myth, folklore and personal narrative. The stories for our final performance come from participants with the teacher helping to piece it together.
