Olympia Community School is almost entirely supported by student tuition; however there are many ways that you can support OCS. In return for your support, OCS is committed to community service through education that empowers children, service learning, and sponsorship of community events.
Charitable giving
Your donations to OCS are tax deductable. You can make a donation to OCS by credit card by clicking 'donate' below. Please contact the President of the Board if you’d like to discuss options for a bequeathal. We can facilitate targeted or general gifts, as well as in-kind goods and services. United Way donors can designate OCS as the recipient of their annual United Way gift.
Capital campaign
OCS is aiming to acquire a permanent location for our school. We envision a community-oriented facility supporting social justice and environmental issues while providing a permanent plant for our school that reflects our values: green construction, community spaces, food production, outdoor classrooms and learning, and low impact site development. Contact the president of the board if you have ideas or suggestions.
On-line shopping through one-cause
Using One-Cause you can support OCS while using a wide range of on-line businesses including Amazon, Dell and HP Computers, Ebay, and hundreds on on-line retailers (only after determining that such services cannot be well provided by a locally owned business).
Washington State Combined Fund Drive
For state employees, Olympia Community School is a registered charity that can be supported as part of the Washington State Combined Fund Drive. Just look for Olympia Community School (#0524308) when you identify charities of your choice.
Olympia Coffee Roasting Company coffee
OCS parents regularly peddle coffee to support OCS and our own coffee drinking habits. All OCS parents can supply Olympia Roasting Company coffees for $12.00 a pound.
